New Updates from For The Story Vacations!

As 2022 comes to a close FTSV is getting some updates you want to know about before you plan your next adventure.

What a year 2022 has been! I can’t believe fall has already arrived and the holidays feel right around the corner. With so many new adventures being planned I felt this was the perfect time to talk about some important updates at For The Story Vacations!

For The Story Vacations Is No Longer Booking International Flights

If you have done any traveling this year, whether internally or internationally, you know that airports and flights have been inundated with issues. From lack of staffing to canceled flights, booking flights has become more difficult to do from abroad. Starting in June 2022, For The Story Vacations no longer books international flights for clients.

I am more than happy to help my clients decide where to fly in/out of based on the agreed-upon travel trajectory for your trip, but I will no longer be offering international flight services be that finding specific flight patterns, dealing with the day of flight issues, or locating lost luggage. 

For the Story, Vacations will handle everything from the moment you land in Europe to the moment you arrive back at your departing airport to head home.

Travel Note - For The Story Vacations will continue to book internal European flights, trains, ferries, and any other form of transportation within Europe.

8-Day Travel Minimum Required

It’s important to make the most out of any international travel and ensuring you give yourself enough time to truly experience places is key. Moving forward, For The Story Vacations will now require at least an 8-day travel minimum.

Between 2-3 days per trip are just spent traveling to and from your destination and adjusting to the time change! Planning travel for any less than eight days can be more stressful than extending your trip to give you leeway. Enjoy this time you spend abroad and get the most out of it that you can!

90-Day Minimum To Work With Clients

As a one-woman band, it is important I have enough time to properly research, plan, and execute the best adventure possible! This means giving us enough time to work together is vital. And while taking on all trips would be amazing it simply isn’t feasible. Moving forward, For The Story Vacations will require a minimum 90-day planning period to work with clients on their upcoming trips.

Potential clients are always welcome to go to my booking calendar on my website to see the most up-to-date departure dates that I am currently booking travel for.

Planning Starts 10-Months Prior to Departure

Are you a planner? Already thinking about where you want to go in 2024? I LOVE IT! And while being on top of things is great, sometimes there is such a thing as planning too early for travel.

Most guides, tours, and restaurants do not allow bookings over 10+ months in advance so don’t worry about missing out! This is the perfect time to start working out all the details about your upcoming trip.

Travel Note - While your departure date may be more than 10 months in advance, For The Story Vacations takes on a limited number of clients per month. When you know you’re ready for your next adventure reserve your planning spot! Schedule your consultation, sign your contract, and know your adventure awaits.

2022 is Officially Booked!

I’ve experienced such incredible growth this year in my business, and I am so thankful to each and every person who has recommended For The Story Vacations or used my services, for their European vacation. With that said, I am so proud to say I am officially booked for the rest of the year, and cannot accept any new clients for 2022 trips.
